Guide
What HealthTrust Europe suppliers actually have to report.
There is little independent explanation of the HealthTrust Europe monthly MI return: the required fields, the deadline, the penalty for missing it, and how frameworks differ. This guide sets out what the published framework terms say, with a source named for every claim. It is not legal or compliance advice.
The twelve contractual fields
The twelve fields named in the current terms cover authority, contract, invoice, item, price, quantity, VAT and totals. Each participating authority is mapped to its HTE code, each framework to its contract reference, and each item to its part number, description and unit of measure.
| Field | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Participating Authority Name / Code | The authority under the framework that placed the order, by its HTE code. |
| HTE Contract Reference | The framework contract the order was placed against. |
| Invoice Number | The supplier's own invoice number for the line. |
| Invoice Date | The date the invoice was raised. |
| Part Number | The supplier's product or item code. |
| Description | The item description. |
| Unit Price | The price per unit, before VAT. |
| Unit of Measure | The unit the item is sold in. |
| Quantity Supplied | The number of units invoiced. |
| Total Net Value | The line value before VAT. |
| Total VAT | The VAT charged on the line. |
| Total Gross Value | The line value including VAT. |

The monthly deadline
Current HTE terms require the previous month's information by the 15th; when that date is not a Business Day, the applicable published contracts move the deadline to the preceding Business Day.

Liquidated damages
The current framework terms set liquidated damages at £250 for each month of delay when management information is still missing 14 days after the due date.

Why frameworks vary
HTE can request additional, similar information with one month's notice. Any such information is an explicit framework-specific variation, versioned separately, not an invented fixed thirteenth column added to every return.
That also means the twelve-field contractual core above is not, by itself, a confirmed return for your framework. Which additional fields apply, if any, depends on your specific HTE framework and is confirmed separately before any paid workflow — not assumed from this guide.

UK Filing checks the twelve-field HTE management information core against your export for free, and confirms your exact framework before any paid workflow — see HealthTrust Europe MI reporting.
